Scottish Wedding Invitation

My friend I made the engagement envelope card for wanted me to make Scottish wedding themed invitations for her wedding.

We this was my first attempt. There are that many Tartans out there, I think this is the correct one for the groom's surname.

I have been looking for some Scottish little buttons/charms or anything I could dress them up with but nothing has really caught my eye.

The bagpipes are cut into the card with the tartan and black shown form behind.

I was thinking of doing one with a thistle on as well and have the tartan where the purple flower should be, what do you think?

Engagement Card

I made this card for a friend at work who has just got herself engaged.

Gave her it today and she loved it, she has asked if I can make her wedding invites similar with a Tartan theme.

First time I have made a card like this, I was very pleased with the outcome.
