I was sorting out some of my clothes which didn't fit me or I didn't want anymore but could not part with them as I loved the fabric so I have a pile of clothes to cut up and reuse.
So this is what I made with the back of a top and the bottom of a vest top.
Its a dress for a 1 ish year old lol!
As this is my first attempt at any sort of clothes making I was pretty chuffed and Adam said it was good - praise indeed if he likes it. Wants to get me making clothes for him lol I said come on this is my first attempt and I don't think I'd ever get that good to make him clothes.
I am going to attempt a bigger one with the left over fabric. Its not costing me anything as I am recycling old clothes so practice makes perfect.
Any hints or tips anyone?? I need help lol
Thanks so much to taking the time to view and comment its much appreciated

It's a very good idea to re-use your clothes ! It's beautiful !
Great idea for recycling--you know I approve. :)
The dress turned out really cute. I'm eager to see what your next project will be.
So cute! I have no advice, I will only attempt curtains which only require sewing a straight line! ;)
Good work Sam - you should stick with it. I'm not safe to be let alone with a sewing machine, I'm completely rubbish at it :)
Seriously awesome idea Sam! I am the worlds worst sewer though...so not sure how successful I would be! On the other hand...you did a super job!
