My decks are up 2 days earlier than normal. Traditionally we put our decorations up on the 1st Dec but I was feeling festive so I wanted to put them up :-)
Here are a few photos and there is a video below.

Since pinching my mams sewing machine about 3 weeks ago I had not used it but had wanted to attempt to make my nieces or the girls some little dresses.
I was sorting out some of my clothes which didn't fit me or I didn't want anymore but could not part with them as I loved the fabric so I have a pile of clothes to cut up and reuse.
So this is what I made with the back of a top and the bottom of a vest top.
Its a dress for a 1 ish year old lol!
As this is my first attempt at any sort of clothes making I was pretty chuffed and Adam said it was good - praise indeed if he likes it. Wants to get me making clothes for him lol I said come on this is my first attempt and I don't think I'd ever get that good to make him clothes.
I am going to attempt a bigger one with the left over fabric. Its not costing me anything as I am recycling old clothes so practice makes perfect.
Any hints or tips anyone?? I need help lol

I had to scrap the same photos for both Darcy and Gypsy but since they are sisters I didn't want to to the same page for both.
So I used the same photo but made two different pages.
First Page
I used the back of another layout for the base of the page as I didn't want to waste it. The paper is from K&Co Urban Stack.
The teal polka dot is an envelope I got a birthday card in I loved it so kept it. All pink paper is scraps and I used a flower die in my Cuttlebug to make the flowers. Text is orange rub on and white peal off stickers.
Second Page
I used Kraft card stock for the base. Pattern paper in this layout came free with the Papercraft Inspirations magazine in Jan 2009 lol old yes I know! My nans friend send lots of old magazines around for me. But I found the link online where you can download and print them yourself. Font was a digital one which I printed and cut out. Free papers There are lots and lots of freebies on this site so have a look :-) I even got the sewing machine out and sewed hearts and some of the papers down. This is the first time I have sewed on paper and was pretty easy. Thanks so much to taking the time to view and comment its much appreciated Sam xxx
Inspiration for this layout came from Stretching Sketches with Donna Jannuzzi. It wasnt actually Donna's sketch which totally inspired me. It was the page Diana Chen made using the sketch as I saw this first. But for me I can scraplift pages better than following blanc sketches I like to see the paper people use and colour combos to get my inspiration going - if you know what I mean!
The process video below I really need to get the mic sorted I appologise in advance its not very good quality and I think I keep putting mic to close to my mouth, Sorry xx
