CraftRoom Update

We'll my little brother Adam (17yr old) has had to move in with me and my fiance also Adam - its getting a little annoying when I shout Adam and they both shout "What?" ha ha

I was moving my craftroom into the back bedroom instead of the utility, but he has had to take over the bedroom, Big Adam has also claimed the utility for his new motor bike so my craft is homeless - sobs!!

He is using my 2 new sets of draws for his clothes!!
All my craft stuff is boxed up and I have not made anything in such a long time and I think I am becoming a little stir crazy.

I had a little brain wave tonight - don't laugh!!
I have quite a big cupboard in my bedroom which you can walk in and has shelves all the way round, and I thought If there was a big piece of wood across I could wheel myself in to the cupboard and craft in there - what do you think? he he little silly but I don't want all my stuff boxed up and getting squashed.

At the minute I have no idea where anything is so this is why I have not made anything in a while.

Let me know what you think? Is this a daft idea? I just don't want one of the Adams to play a trick on me and shut the door and lock me in as I'm claustrophobic!!

Baby Bath Time Layout.

Finally here it is Amelia's last lot of professional photos, all scrapped!

I didnt really do alot with this page as it took me so long to do her Christening one, and I wanted it finished so I can start her new album its pretty plan!

I used the same pink card and rose velum like material for the background as I used on Nicole's Easter Tag a few days ago. They were out and I needed pink so I thought I'd use the scraps left over.

I also thought the felt duckie was cute and appropriate as there is 2 in the photo with her :-)

Easter Layout

I have already done one Easter layout for Layla's scrapbook but I needed to make one for Amelia too.

Only issue is Amelia's scrapbook is only a 8x8 so I had to make her's look as pretty as Layla's was.

This is what I came up with.

Matted and Layered alot of Easter colours to keep it looking fresh.

I didnt have another bunny like I used on Layla's so I went for a little lamb instead with wobbly eyes which I thought were adorable!!

I free cut the eggs out so they are not perfectly formed haha! But I am not worried at all.
I also free hand cut the grass in to patterned greens to give it a little more dimention. I takes ages I wish I had a cricut cartridge which does grass - anyone know which one has it?

Rak/Tag Swap with

Hi All

So I am sick ... boo hoo! I have been coughing really badly for the past 3 days and this morning about 3am I couldnt breathe properly so I thought I better go to the Doctors. Called in sick at work which didnt go down well even thought for the past 3 days at work people have been saying oh you dont sound well! Plus I work in a office which is probabily how I caughted it - stupid air con lol!

I have a chest infection for Easter - great!! Theres my weekend ruined.

Came home to a lovely surprise though check it out :

Also Adam bought me some flowers :-)

We so need to replace that fence in the back garden this summer!

Easter Tag Swap

Me and my friend Nicole (AKA Nasn00 on YouTube) decided to do a Tag Swap as we have both never made one before. Since Easter is coming up we thought this was a fitting theme and we both went with that.

I have been super swamp with work lately and my dieting hasnt been going well I have only lost 3 pound in about 4 weeks, but being truthful with you I have not had the willpower to try!! So I have been vetitating most nights afterwork then Nicole posted her vid of her finished tag and I hadnt even started EKK!

So this is what I made last night.

I am still not sure about it, it is easter colours/flowers and butterflys the bunny I was going to put on looked far too big!!

Dedication for Somer Thompson

Sarah aka "kaczsk" did a call out on YouTube to pull the scrapbooking community together to create a mini-album page in dedication to Somer Thompson.

It is a very sad story, I dont have children so I can only imagine how hard it has been for Diena (Somer's Mam) So I think this is a lovely idea to help Diena scrap and celebrate her daughters life.

Somer's favourite colour was purple so I went with this for the theme. I didnt have much choice with patterned paper as I only had 2-3 in as purple isnt one of my fav colours for crafting.
