Aperture Christmas Cards

Hi Everyone

Since moving to my new craft room I have found alot of old stuff I forgot I had, so I have been going through trying to use them up.

I found some tags which I I have had for well over 4 years and I made a Youtube video here as I didnt have a clue how to use them in 2010!

I also had some Aperture cards which I bought in Michaels for $1 which I didnt know how to use.

5 years on and I have finally figured it out!

Repurposing old store bought cards into new handmade cards

Good Evening everyone ... 30 days till Christmas!! eek I haven't started my shopping yet and still have so many cards left to make!!

So I am a little bit of a horder and since moving all my stuff into my new craft room have I found this out!!  I don't throw away cards I receive for birthdays and Christmas. I have made some new cards for Christmas using some old store bought ones I have received over the years.

I love how they turned out totally different from the original cards they were printed on.

 The images on all these cards came from store bought ones and I had kept them because I loved them and wanted to re-use them some how. I love how they turned out.

P.s I will make a video of my craft room once I have finished setting it up I have loads of my stuff bagged up and have no idea where anything is!!

Sam's Scrapbook Process : Hounds of Hell

Hi

Hope everyone is well. I haven't made any Sam's Scrapbook Process videos in a while so thought I would try and get caught up on some layouts.

Since Halloween is just around the corner we decided to buy the furry boys a costume as I have never bought them a Halloween one before. So we bought a Devil and a Witch one from the £Shop. Only to get home to find part of the Witch costume was missing .. boohoo! Well for the sake of a £1 I wasn't going to return it so I just had to put the Devil one on both of them and take a quick photo.

I put the photos in EyeEm as it keeps the photo rectangle instead of cropping into square like Instagram. I put some cool filters on them which made them look a tad more dark and spooky :-)

The idea came from a layout I saw on my Facebook feed which is by Scrapbook Treds Magazine.

I loved the layout and thought I would give it a go.

I thought the title fitted as the dogs are Hounds.

Christmas Cards in October

We'll telling myself a few months ago to start making my Christmas Cards so I wont be stressing come end of December and only have 3 made. But I still didnt sit down and start and make them!

Sam's Scrapbook Process : Happily Ever After

Hi

Hope everyone is well.

Haven't been scrapbooking lately just joining in the YTLH once a month and am getting quite behind in my albums. I am also trying to get a start on my Christmas cards as I dont want to leave it till the last minute as always.

Anyways since I am scrapping some of my family history photos I thought I would scrap some of my nan and grandad's wedding photos there were hundreds to choose from but I just went with 3 for this layout.

Butter-cream and Maroon Card stock

Adam bought me a Silhouette Cameo for my birthday which I have been asking for quite a few years.

I am still learning how to use it and trying to keep it boxed while not using it as we are still decorating my new craftroom. 

I cut out the title from the Silhouette online store: 
they lived happily ever after by Megan Hardy Designs
