Sam's Scrapbook Process : Hoover Dam

Hope everyone is doing well.

Continuing with my niece's album updates I am still scrapping holidays from 2012!

On this layout I used digital papers from Design House Digital called Let'sGo same papers I used on my Vegas layout a few days ago.

Another quick layout as I am trying to get them done and her album is getting very chunky so I am trying to keep all the pages as flat as possible.

I used Sticky Alpha's in Classic Black by Colorbök 
A Metal Sightseeing Charm and a Flare Badge.

I scuffed the edges of everything and inked in black.

Sam's Scrapbook Process : Disney

I finally decided to use up my few sheets of Disney paper I have been hoarding for quite a few years.

I have been to Disney over 15 times and still to this day never scrapped a single photo of me there!! And this will continue as I am not in these photo's lol!!

Inspiration for this layout came from pinterest but i think photo is originally from twopeasinabucket.

Papers are all Disney papers
Stickers are Disney from EK Success.
Pebbles polka dot yellow washi tape.

Letters are actually cut from a football (Soccer) magazine where a child had colored in the letters in for a competition poster.

Sam's Scrapbook Process : Las Vegas

A little bit of afternoon crafting for me today before visiting nan in hospital.

I used digital papers from Design House Digital called Let'sGo but this doesn't look like it is available anymore on the site as I cant find it.

I also used mini map pages out of the back of my old planner and 8x8 black cardstock.

Jolee's and MAMBI -  Vegas/Travel themed stickers.

Thickers - Daiquiri & Shoe Box

I put a red gem next to Las Vegas on the map too which sort of looked like the red pin's you put in a wall map showing where you have been. We used to do this but Adam took it down when he redecorated his computer room. I think I might put it up in my craft room because I saved it and was going to cut it into a few 12x12 map papers but I dont know if I want to as it shows all the places me and Adam have been together.

Sam's Scrapbook Process : Not Tonight

This next layout was just a bit fun. Photo of Amelia with her hair up in towel after a bath. As soon as I saw the photo was had the title in my head "Not tonight I'm washing my hair!" lol

I used the S.E.I - Winnie's Walls Scrapbook kit. This is a very old kit but I need to start and use some of my old stash!

I also did something I have never done before but have seen Tracy (Mercy Tiara) done loads outline papers with black pen. LOL I noticed while doing so I do not have a very steady hand!!



  This is the only good thing which came out of my day today!!

We have been having a few nice sunny/windy days so I put washing out on line only to stand on a piece of wood which had blew off the fence and it had screw sticking out :-( it went straight through my slipper into my foot which is now killing and I cant walk without a hobble! 
Also while sitting in my craft room Adam in shower upstairs I start hearing a drip drip drip! Oh the shower is leaking and running down into my craft room so now my full craft room needs to be emptied so Adam can pull the ceiling out to fix issue - Arrgh!!

Sam's Scrapbook Process : Too Cute to Spook

Hey all
Hope everyone is well. 

So I have started my niece Amelia's album. I think I was behind as far back as Halloween 2012!! I think there is 1 or 2 pages from March 2012 I still need to go back and complete as well.

 

This page is her Halloween page and I have seen a few other people name their layouts "Too Cute to Spook" so I had to pinch the title for mine. I have just noticed on the photo I only have one o in the first to so I have corrected that!!

Sam's Scrapbook Process : Spring

Hey all
Hope everyone is well. Sorry I have been MIA but I've just not want to scrapbook.

I have realized I am very very behind with my albums so have decided to start on one album at a time and get each one up-to-date before moving onto next album.

So I don't seem to be scrapping in any particular order in Amelia'a album at the minute. Its just which photos get my attention first.

I even got my sewing machine out on this one.

This layout doesn't have a title as I don't think it needed one. But these were taken just after Easter so it is a Spring theme. It was not really a special day it was just Amelia posing in her new dress. There is hidden journalling on the tag under the photo as well.

It didn't turn out as good as I imagined and I didn't end up using the papers I had imagined I would use as once photos were printed they didn't match the color pallet at all!
