Mini Album

I've been busy today sorting craft stuff out and I managed to get my mini album for my friend Eric in Manila, Philippines.
I was supposed to be going over there in June with work but it has been postponed until October which is clashing with my family holiday so I have had to drop out - sad I'm not going but I am not missing my family holiday.

I made this album for the photos of his 1 year old daughter Charlize Andrea she is super adorable!!

The album is made from a cardboard insert from the packaging from some pillow cases I bought a while back. I never really throw much away lol!!

It measures 6 x 4 "

Best Friends LO

This is a quick LO I created for my niece Amelia's scrapbook.

Amelia and Layla (the baby my parents are fostering) absolutely adore each other they truly are best friends. They see each other almost daily and play along so well.

This is a 8x8 Layout.

The papers are no named brand.

I used some of my new Prima say it with crystals - I Heart Prima!!

The flowers are from a local craft store they are almost identical to Prima ones but only £1 - Bargin!!

Pumpkin Patch 8x8 Layout

OMG I am almost a year behind with my niece Amelia's scrapbook, so this weekend I decided to try and catch up.

This is a gorgeous picture of my brother and Amelia when we were at Bush Garden's in Florida at the end of last year and they had a Pumpkin Patch with hay and scarecrows set up and it was adorable.

Papers used:

DCWV - The Doodlin' Around All Year Stack

Brown plain cardstock - No name

Again I used the pumpkin template which i got from "A Year in cards - September 2009 Halloween Cards by Kristina Werner. I also free hand cut some leaves in different scraps and crumpled and inked them to look like old dried leaves.

I cut paper strips and inked the edges for my journalling. I don't really like my hand writing but never mind, its done and they stuck down haha!

Birthday 12 x 12 Layout

It was Layla's First Birthday and we only managed to get a few decent pictures.

This is the 12x12 layout I created.

Papers

DCWV - Nana's Nursery - Baby Girl Glitter Baby Words Cardstock

Candy pink and white from local craft store - no name

Pink and white polka dot from local craft store - no name.

Olive Green card stock - no name.

Lace sticker down the side is from Lakeland Limited.

I used a giant number one chipboard piece which I covered in green co-ordinating paper and used my white gel-pen to put a stitching line as it looked a little plain just green. I used some flowers which I got from a local craft store which look at like Prima ones. I hand cut some leaves and pinked edges, I used some of the glass gems I got in a RAK from Nicole (AKA -Nasn00 on youTube)

I hand made this little 'Birthday' banner, I used some sewing thread and threaded this in and out of the page behind the banner. I cut white triangles out of white paper and stuck them on the green paper and used my decorative edge scissors and cut them out leaving a little green fringe. I stuck little pink gems in between each triangle - I was mega happy with this i think its super cute!! I saw this idea online at Flickr By Jana Eubank her work is incredable I love her layouts!!

CraftRoom Update

We'll my little brother Adam (17yr old) has had to move in with me and my fiance also Adam - its getting a little annoying when I shout Adam and they both shout "What?" ha ha

I was moving my craftroom into the back bedroom instead of the utility, but he has had to take over the bedroom, Big Adam has also claimed the utility for his new motor bike so my craft is homeless - sobs!!

He is using my 2 new sets of draws for his clothes!!
All my craft stuff is boxed up and I have not made anything in such a long time and I think I am becoming a little stir crazy.

I had a little brain wave tonight - don't laugh!!
I have quite a big cupboard in my bedroom which you can walk in and has shelves all the way round, and I thought If there was a big piece of wood across I could wheel myself in to the cupboard and craft in there - what do you think? he he little silly but I don't want all my stuff boxed up and getting squashed.

At the minute I have no idea where anything is so this is why I have not made anything in a while.

Let me know what you think? Is this a daft idea? I just don't want one of the Adams to play a trick on me and shut the door and lock me in as I'm claustrophobic!!

Baby Bath Time Layout.

Finally here it is Amelia's last lot of professional photos, all scrapped!

I didnt really do alot with this page as it took me so long to do her Christening one, and I wanted it finished so I can start her new album its pretty plan!

I used the same pink card and rose velum like material for the background as I used on Nicole's Easter Tag a few days ago. They were out and I needed pink so I thought I'd use the scraps left over.

I also thought the felt duckie was cute and appropriate as there is 2 in the photo with her :-)
