Smash Book Art : Alive
Fancied getting my paints out as I have been watching alot of Leilani Joy's Art Nuvogue and I just love her paintings but as I have said before I am rubbish at drawing!
I had this quote from Frankenstein where the Dr says "It's Alive!" and I found this quote: The whole point of being alive is to evolve into the complete person you were intended to be!
I also saw a pin-up Bride of Frankenstein tattoo which Kat Von D did on LA Ink a while ago but cant find a photo of it anywhere!
I know its not Halloween but I fancied painting something with that and this is what I came up with.
Image traced but changed a bit from http://dv-venom.deviantart.com/art/The-Bride-of-Frankenstein-2-358921824
It got a tad messy and had a few issues where mist would not go through lace or my mesh and got black paint everywhere as I couldn't get the paint to run properly but I got there in the end.
Thanks for taking the time to look and any comments left xx
Its much appreciated.

Sam's Scrapbook Process : Easter
Good Evening All
Just realised in one of my nieces scrapbook I am a year behind!!!
So thought I would try and get a bit caught up. I still have Christmas 2012 to scrap in her album but wasn't feeling Christmasy last night so through I'd skip them and scrap her Easter/spring photos.
Used:
Paper - First Edition - Spring Drop
Paper - Me & My Big Ideas Spring Mambi Kit
Jolees - Large Happy Easter
Smash Journaling Card
Free 2013 Project Life Card
I also made another layout but it was super quick and didn't video it.
Thanks for taking the time to look and any comments left xx
Its much appreciated.

Sam's Scrapbook Process : If there ever comes a day
Good Evening All
Happy New Year this is my first post for 2014 and its slightly a sad subject ive scrapped.
Its a heritage layout I have been working on for the past few days and the journaling is what took the longest as I really didn't know what to right. The photo is of my great aunt and uncle who died age 3 and 4 of Diphtheria in 1934. It is the only photo we have of them and I believe this photo was taken a month or so before they died of the disease. Very sad as my great grandmother also lost another son age 5 to the same thing 2 years earlier in 1931 but there is no photo of him.
I have had the photo for quite a few years and wanted to go with a vintage nursery theme but didn't know how to do it.
Used:
Paper - Colorbök - French Prep
- The Girls' Paperie - Vintage Whimsey
- Colorbök - Homespun Paper Collection
Vintage nursery rhyme music paper
Vintage Pram newspaper advert
Cameo cut files
- vintage baby carriage by Hero Arts
- if there ever comes a day - keep me in your heart - vinyl phrase by Kolette Hall
