I eventually got ink for my printer so could do my St. Patrick's Day Layout - Yey! It didn't turn out how I expected but I like it. Bit annoyed thought as I thought I had my camera on when I was videoing but silly me didn't actually push record.

Scrapbook Process : Christmas

Here is a photos of my craft room so far please ignore the state of the paint. I could not wait any longer I will paint around the shelves when I get the paint.

This is not a super amazing craft room but its my little space and don't care if all the boxes don't match as its only me sitting in here and I have more important things to spend my money on. The wind blew my back garden fence down so there will be a new fence up up very soon. 

My printer is set up behind me with all my draws.

 

So I have made a Scrapbook Process video. OMG this took me so long even thought its a mega simple layout. I am still trying to get used to the set-up with the new camera.

Recent Scrapbook Pages

I tucked myself away in my little craft room last night and made some layouts. Adam said he is going to put some paint on the walls and put me some shelves up at the weekend. Cant wait for it to be all finished. He is also building me a PC to go where my laptop is so I don't have to keep carrying laptop about.

First layout is for Darcy's album and is 8.5 x 11. She loves to play dress up and getting her photo taken. I think I annoyed her this day as I kept trying to get the right photo and she kept moving about. She then announced with a sigh "No more my Samantha!" She calls me my Samantha. She keeps calling me Auntie Sam and trying to tell a almost 3 year old I am not her Auntie is confusing so mam has told her I am Amelia's Auntie Sam but I am her Samantha.

 Plain white paper for back ground and sprayed with Cosmic Shimmer in Meadow Lush and Plum Twist. I used a Disney Tinker bell embellishment. The Purple paper is a free sheet I got with a magazine years ago and has just been sitting there. The letters are Colorbok Sweet Alpha Stax but I didn't have any green ones so these are a light pattern but I coloured with a dark Christmas Green ink pad.

 This next one is a 8x8. Using Free papers I got with a magazine at the weekend. They are "Fancy Pants - Its the Little Things" I used the photos I made in the BigHugeLabs - Photobooth.

 I used the Fiskars Bubbles-1 stencil for the journalling block which I printed in word. I used a StudioG stamp for the little sentiment in the bottom corner. And some other little embellishments I had lying about. I also made up some teal paint to splatter the background paper.

I must say I love this page. The paper is gorgeous!!

Happy St. Paddy's Day

Hi All

Happy St. Patrick's Day Every one.

I had a page in mind for tonight but the ink in my printer has ran out OMG I want to cry. I am lost without my printer. I was going to do a 12x12 layout in my Lucky Green T-Shirt today but the printer is printing me with a blue T-Shirt on!

I was Amelia's little Tea Party today it was her Birthday on Wednesday but we were all at work.
She has a Bouncy Castle in my parents garden. Here are some pictures of me, Darcy and Amelia.

Ok it looks like I am being a tad rough with them but honest I'm not I never made them cry once hahah.

I think Darcy flew off the bouncy castle but she was fine.

Just us being silly.

Yummy Choc cake my Auntie made for Amelia. Ann Marie makes the best Choc cake ever. Its a shame im on my Meat diet!!! Ok I caved and had a cupcake ......... ok 3 hehehe.

Book Scrapbook Page

Just wanted to share quick and easy layout I made. Had to get this one finished before I started one for 2012 books.

I thought making collage of the front covers of books I've read would be easier then listing names as the covers of the book reminds me more than a title.

The hearts are cut from book paper and inked with Tim Holtz old paper.

All unpacked and washing is sorted so I can start and play with my goodies.

Cool Site Found.

Hi

Just wanted to share a cool website I just found.

You may of already seen it but I haven't so wanted to share -  Big Huge Labs

Its a site where you can create your own photo booth strips you just upload your photos and it creates it for you.

I just created 2 with some daft photos I took of me and my niece while we were on holiday as my camera has lift up screen so you can see yourself when taking photo.

OMG how fab is that.. I'm not bothered that I have no make up on in the photo or I look like crap I think they look fun and natural just like we are :-) I am going to create a scrapbook layout using these.

I'm Back

Glad to be back as I am stick of flying

We couldn't get a direct flight anywhere so from Vegas we had to go to Chicago before Florida and then change at Washington DC before Boston then London before I got back to Sunderland. I think I was on more flights than some of the air hostesses

This is the hotel we stayed at.

Lobster Roll I've wanted to try one for ages and I lived on them the 2 days we were there I liked them so much lol

Memorial Carving I didn't have chance to read what it was for as tour bus turned up. I assume it was a Civil War one.The detail was amazing on the carving.

The Boston Common Frog Pond - Ice Rink.

Luckily it wasn't snowing when we were there but there was a huge pile which had been cleared in the park.

We went on a bus tour while in Boston was easiest way to get everything in as we only really had 1 full day.

Adam and my little Brother David with there sun tan faces with white eyes from sunglasses from day at Daytona Car Race in Florida! Someone in the airport thought they had been skiing with the tan and the winter clothes hehe.

It was Freezing in Boston - worse than the UK and that's saying something.

Nice shot of the harbour from the tour bus. I love how the window framed it and David looking out.

Home and unpacking. This suitcase is only craft items and we had an issue with over weight suitcases in the airport... ok yes it was my fault :-)

Now I am home I am starting the Dukan Diet (Meat diet) and busy planning my next holiday already lol we said no more America for a while as my last 15 holidays have been there but I don't think I can do it I love Florida soo much its my home from home.

Still on Holiday

Hi All
I'm still on holiday. I cant believe I forgot my video cam!!

Las Vegas - Done! Wasn't my cup of tea! Don't think I will go back there and was definitely not child friendly, baring in mind we had my 3 year old and 3 month old nieces with me and Laura had her 1 year old with her.

We are on our last day of Florida and me and mam are having a child free day catching some last sun around the pool. We are off to Boston in the morning and the weather is looking cold and snowy there :-(
