So I needed a break from making Christmas cards and I am a little behind in my baby Neice Amelia's scrapbook for Grandma (my mam).
I have all the photos with the dates in the wallets ready to do but its finding inspiration to make the pages.
It was 2 am this morning and this is what I came up with, I feel sorry for Adam (my fiance) as he was at work this morning and I was using my heat tool and had music on downstairs. Bless him he doesnt complain.
First layout is a photo of my brother and Amelia and she really is the double of him. Well she cant dely being a Wright as she looks a little like me when I was a baby too. So you all should of heard the saying
"The Apple never falls far from the Tree" meaning your alot like your parents.
I came up with this 8x8 layout.
Paper is from My Minds Eye ~ Abbey Road"Round & Round" Scenery Paper. Which I cut the trees and raised them with Foam tape.
I used my Computer to print the title using A Yummy Apology font which I downloaded and added to my font folder (which is located in my Windows folder of my C: Drive) If you need help with this please drop me a message.
I typed the title in Microsft Word and ran my paper through and printed on to the scrapbooking paper.
I used my hole punch to make the apples and stuck them on with my 2way glue pen.
Rounded the corners of the photo and stuck it down.
Second page I am not so sure about.
I had some little wooden letters I got from Wallmart a few years ago but they were too cute to use, so I had opened the box as I only have the George and Basics in my cricut and i dont like that font. I coloured them with Brown ink - not sure of the brand.
My brother and sister in law took Amelia for a Professional Photo Sitting and the photos are amazing. These are just 3 of them there will be more layouts using them when I get round to it.
Picking colours from the images which I always do - I used Kraft card stock for the background and stamped in Versa Watermark a cute Vintage Baby Stamp which I got for $1!! in Michaels Bargin Bin when I was there in November this year. We have already booked up to go back in October 2010 I cant wait!!
I used a strip of Butter Cream Linen textured card stock from The PaperMill Shop and matted this on the some plain brown card stock which I used my Friskars Tredding Water punch on the bottom.
The tag is made using another vintage baby stamp (Also from Michaels $1) It says Official Baby Business I used the same brown ink as the title and cut this into a circle and used i think its twill?? Not sure its what the tags are on attached to new jeans.
Added the photos and used a white Faux Strich all around the page and the title.
Hope you like it.
Buster (my beagle) is huffing and puffing, wanting to go for a walk and I have to get the Chicken in the oven for tea so I better go.

Christmas Cards
I have left it very late this year for making Christmas cards!!!
I only started about a week or two ago.
Thought if share a few of them that i have made. All inspired by Kristina Werner I totally love her work she is mega tallented.
I used some of equipment I got from my Haul while I was in Florida about 2 weeks ago doesnt feel like I've had a holiday now Im back at work :-(
This was my first Circle card I used my cricut. For some reason it has never really liked it and I stopped using it but I needed a perfect circle so i got it and and hey presto it cut without any arguments. I also used my cricut for the "HOHOHO" this was just from george and basics cartridge.
This adorable Santa was out a little embelishment pack I got from walmart for $1.50 I really wish I'd picked more than one packet up, hadnt realised how cute he was till i made this card!!
Used plain no name red card stock, not sure about the backing paper it is something i printed off last year and I found it in my box of scraps. I used my Friskars tredding water boarder punch on the gold cardstock.
My Second card I used a template of the top note die as I dont actually have the die for my cuttlebug.
I used plain no name red and white card stock and brown ribbed texture card stock from The Papermill Shop, the red glitter polkadot paper from My Minds Eye Sweet Dreams Holiday Avenue.
I stamped Rudolf and the sentiment in black stazon and used my water markers to colour Rudolf I have never been very good at getting the shading right but I think I did an ok job on him. (Used Seasonal Baeuty clear stamps from HamptonArt stamp set)
As Kristina Werner always finishes with white faux stitch I thought I would too. Also had to use a scrap of red ribbon to tie the pattern paper with the white as it looked to sharp and unfishished. Used a selection of odd buttons to fill in the white open space.
I made 2 other versions of this card as below:
Anyway I have to go do the house work :-(
I think you all know what I would rather be doing.
