Beer Mat Altered Scrapbook

Hi All

This is my first video...Sorry havent mastered the art of videoing and showing off work yet so its a bit jumpie! And the tapping in the back ground is the dog walking about the wood floor , hehe sounds like he's tap dancing.
I used 6 beer mats. Painted them with tester posts from hardware store then decorated with printed papers.
Linked together with metal rings and embelsihed with chipboard and ribbon. Havent decided which photos will go in this album yet so kept it quite simple.

Hope you like it I was working on it all day.

Scottish Wedding Invitation

My friend I made the engagement envelope card for wanted me to make Scottish wedding themed invitations for her wedding.

We this was my first attempt. There are that many Tartans out there, I think this is the correct one for the groom's surname.

I have been looking for some Scottish little buttons/charms or anything I could dress them up with but nothing has really caught my eye.

The bagpipes are cut into the card with the tartan and black shown form behind.

I was thinking of doing one with a thistle on as well and have the tartan where the purple flower should be, what do you think?

Engagement Card

I made this card for a friend at work who has just got herself engaged.

Gave her it today and she loved it, she has asked if I can make her wedding invites similar with a Tartan theme.

First time I have made a card like this, I was very pleased with the outcome.

Hand Sewn Card

Sewing on cards is alot harder than I thought it was going to be.

I made this card for my gran who loves to embroider.
